Who am I? My name is Pietro, and my real job is as a comic book letterer for Panini Spa (handling Italian, French, and German adaptations of Marvel, DC Comics, independent titles, Image, Top Cow, and more).
I’m also an illustrator and comic book writer.
Animation is my passion: as a child, I drew animations with sticky notes in the margins of books and notebooks. They were sort of rudimentary flipbooks. Over the years, I’ve taken several courses, both in person and online (and I continue to do so), to understand the different facets of this world, focusing on stop-motion and 2D, which are my two true passions.
I use the techniques of the moment, often trying to choose the one best suited to telling the story I have in mind.
